We communicate to our collaborators, clients, friends and colleagues the entry of Dr. Felipe Tadeu Freitas Taveira as a partner of Vivacqua Advogados.
A highly qualified professional with extensive experience in public law, since 2002 he has been a Public Prosecutor at the Rio de Janeiro Municipal Attorney General’s Office, where he has taken on numerous challenges, including:
• Member of the Commission for Qualification of Social Organizations within the Municipality of Rio de Janeiro – “COQUALI”
• Attorney-Advisor to the Mayor’s Office
• Prosecutor-Adviser to the Attorney General
• Member of the Board of Directors of “CDURP” – Urban Development Company of the Region of the Port of Rio de Janeiro;
• Member of the Fiscal Council of the National Association of Municipal Attorneys – “ANPM”
• Chairman of the Technical Committee for the evaluation of proposals for the contracting of contentious, civil and labor Advocacy Services for the Public Companies and Mixed-Capital Companies of the Municipality of Rio de Janeiro
• Attorney-Coordinator – Legal Counsel of the Municipal Health and Housing Secretariats
Graduated in Law from the Faculdade Brasileira de Ciências Jurídicas, with Post Graduation in State Law from the University of the State of Rio de Janeiro – “UERJ” and specialization in Bids and Administrative Contracts by IBMEC, he also has training in International Bidding Rules and Acquisitions for Financed Projects by the World Bank – “BIRD”.
However, the position currently occupied by Dr. Felipe Taveira does not prevent him from exercising the activities he will perform at Vivacqua Advogados, as he is only prevented from advocating against the Municipality of Rio de Janeiro under the terms of current legislation.
